Scientific and technical conferences organized by our company fulfilled the mission of a panel for the exchange of information between scientific institutions, producers and service providers, and consumers of solutions. Participants focused on issues related to the acquisition, processing and application of spatial information.
The conferences were organized by GEOSYSTEMS Polska and Military University of Technology cannually in 2006-2010, bringing together the broad national geoinformatics community. The material collected in the form of presentations by participants from all editions is a specific knowledge base of GIS, remote sensing, photogrammetry and many related fields.
The GIS knowledge base covers the following topics:
- new, existing and planned sources of spatial information,
- suppliers and image databases,
- classification of satellite images,
- high-resolution satellite data for military reconnaissance,
- decision support systems in crisis management,
- integration of GIS systems, interoperability,
- photogrammetric studies to ensure the geographical security of cities and important strategic facilities,
- methods of presenting vector and raster data,
- time and space analyses,
- qualitative analysis of spatial data and their models,
- network solutions (networking).
Below we provide the full archive of the conference. We hope that this resource will be useful in particular for students of fields related to geography, spatial management and broadly understood geographical engineering.
All papers presented during the meeting were published in the journal Systemy Logistyczne Wojsk. Papers in English were published in the magazine Polish Journal of Environmental Studies.
